Take SS at 62. When you do the math you will see it to be the right financial move. Heck they even have the math done for you to look at on their website to show you that it is the wiser decision!
IMHO I would snowbird. I full time and basically it turns out to be nothing more than snow birding anyway. Only dif is paying for CG fees when you head back up north to your original home area for the summer. In hind sight I would have kept my house or sold it and bought a smaller one and used it for the northern trip months.
That way you keep your registration and 'more importantly' all insurances as is. Right now having a pre-exsisting medical problem is not the time to try and get another insurance policy. IMHO don't even think the obama care is going to be of any help financially for you, unless you are indigent!
And doing it this way you also won't have to dip into any of your portfolios until they mature.
