also remember that if you contribute no more social security, your projected amount per month will be lower. they average all years and assume you are working. If you stop working, the years are 0 and are averaged in. I went into the SS website to check into early retirement and how it effects your SS check.
so if you stop paying into SS, be sure to find out what your new projected monthly amts will be for each of you.
