I agree that you should just wait a few more weeks and see what you will be able to get thru the ACA. I'm very optimistic about it in spite of all the naysayers.
I had planned on retiring last winter at 61 1/2 and starting to snowbird. I found that no one would approve me for health insurance because of what I think are relatively minor pre-existing conditions so had to keep working just for insurance. This Jan 1 they will no longer be able to deny me and I expect it to be very affordable after tax credits. I expect Jan 1 will find me in Florida for the winter!
