We have some experience with NG after turning in a claim on our 9-year-old 5th wheel after hitting a bad pot hole. The frame and slide were bent so it was unsafe to use as a result of the accident. NG did pay for most of the extensive repairs, which included straightening the frame at a big rig repair shop. NG would not pay for an extra beam to reinforce the frame since the 5th wheel didn't originally have one. The repair process took about 2 months--partly because of NG's response in approving repairs and the extensiveness of the repairs. The owner of the NG approved repair facility told us he couldn't believe the adjuster didn't total the unit because of the extensive damage. Our RV was mostly fixed, but still showed some signs of damage and a slide that worked but did not seal as tight as before.
