:) Hi, My Good Sam expired, but I bought a new Ford F-150 and have basic AAA. I guess if my trailer needs to be towed, I'll just pay for it. I already paid for three years and never used it.
x2 ... I've had CoachNet service for almost 3 years, and have yet to use it. In the last few years, I've read so many bad stories about both services, that after my CoachNet coverage runs out, I may not bother to carry any coverage at all, other than AAA, which would cover my tow vehicle.
I have thought about self-insuring, just putting some money away each month for this eventuality. but there are some other things to consider too. One is that the premium services pay varying amounts of money, up to $2000, for lodging while your road home is being fixed. This can be significant.
I think if I had a class A MH this would be a no-brainer. But with a trailer that can be towed by any pickup and certainly any towtruck getting a trailer towed is far easier.
Then there is the road side service. The flats, broken axles, whatever...I think overall it;s a good gamble. While I have decided to give GSRSA a try, I will be watching them closely for how they perform.
But in truth I am not convinced and they definitely have a service problem that needs addressing.
