Do some people just have bad days or do they just complain about everything.
I worked part-time for US Airways (Back when it was known as US Air) for 4 1/2 years first as a gate agent then as a ramp supervisor. There are some people whom you could give them the entire airline as compensation for a problem...and they still wouldn't be happy about some part of their trip. And it's always the airline's fault. I had customers approach me at the gate after getting off a flight demanding that their ticket money be refunded because; the flight was too bumpy, there were too many crying babies in the cabin, the cabin temperature was too hot or too cold and now they have the flu, they missed their connecting flight because they fell asleep waiting in the airport, they didn't get upgraded to 1st Class at their departure point (even though the passenger manifest lists them in 1st Class sitting in seat 2A, their flight was cancelled due to weather and it's a matter of life and death that they arrive at their destination TODAY!!!, and on...and on...and on...!!!!!:R Point being...IMHO, there is nothing more difficult to deal with than the general public. It's been my philosophy for many decades that as an individual, we can do our best to try and make people happy but regardless, there is always that small number of folks who for whatever reason or another, are convinced that life revolves completely around them and they're owe'd something because things don't go absolutely perfectly for them. I'm retired now. I try and ignore life's complainers. Life's just too darn short to waste it complaining about the small insignificant stuff. And as for the ones who do complain about the small stuff? I simply view now as free entertainment...especially when I'm in line at gate check-in for a flight running an hour late with 1st Class completely booked and the guy ahead of me swearing if he doesn't get bumped up to 1st Class as compensation for the late flight he'll, "Sue the company for all it's got", cause his brother in law is a lawyer.:B
