Camping World Gift Certificate

Requested a quote for GS Ins in early December 2015 via website listed in Camping World catalog. Fine print suggests 4/6 week delivery of a $10. gift certificate for requesting a quote. Decided to insure RV with GS ins in late December. During sign up by phone they mentioned my quote request and advised yes the gift certificate was still be offered. Advised I should have it by mid January. It is now mid February and still no gift certificate. Any ideas?

  • Here's the followup to my original post on 2-13-16. Sent PM with info as requested. Since then I have received a pm and a phone call. The last phone call received from the "vendor" on 2-16-16 promised the certificate would be send right away. Confirmed mailing address, etc. It is March 4th and still no certificate. Not that a $10.00 gift certificate is going to keep me away from Camping World but it might have come in handy with some recent purchases made. Not only did I request an insurance quote based on the advertisement I also purchased GS Insurance later, paid 1 year in advance, for my travel trailer.
  • Now they may send you your certificate. Odds are it will expire before you can use it.

    They never intended on sending it. They what until the very few ask about their certificate and then claim it was delayed and will then send it.

    It is part of the overall pattern of Good Sam to exploit and abuse their customers in an effort to financially better themselves.
