To confirm Elizabeth's comments, your REC REWARDS points can still be redeemed for Camping World gift cards as they were with the previous program and at the same point levels. So Can you clarify exactly what happened?

Did you go to CW with your Visa and the card was not accruing points per the new card company rules and thus you could not buy the gift card?

Or did you try to redeem the points with the Credit Card company?

Where are you trying to redeem the points?

Is the card company now telling you they DONT ACCRUE points?

I am a bit confused and am very interested in whats happening as I had just applied for one and now may not want it. Or at least one good reason for getting it is now potentially gone.

Well maybe I am mistaken about what the OP's problem was, but the way I read it it means that the GS Visa card accrued points that could be redeemed at CW. The new card company is now telling the OP that is not true.

If I am correct in my reading of it then the answer given is indeed at the very least unclear and at worst just off the mark entirely.

Were you not happy with your response from GS on your other thread?

I am all ears on this one as I was about to apply for one. But if this turns out to be true I will rethink.
