- Old-BiscuitExplorer IIIBuy a membership in a private campground that is affiliated with CTC and then you can join and pay yearly dues to maintain memberships
Type of home park designation determines 'level' of CTC membership
Classic-------up to 1 week stays at $10/15 per night
Deluxe--------up to 2 week stays at $10/15 per night
Useful IF you are full time and traveling a lot.
Buying a 'home park' membership should be done via RESALE market.
Buying directly from park is WAY too expensive to be worthwhile
RVPARKSTORE.COM is one source of resale. - luckydExplorerBe careful with "resale".
Some contracts do not allow you to sell, some
parks charge very high transfer fees.
Read the fine print before you buy. - Good_Sam_Care_TExplorerDear Bill-R,
To become a Coast to Coast member, you first must join any one of the affiliated membership campgrounds which becomes your "home resort." Once you join a home resort, you are then eligible to become a Coast to Coast member. And that means hundreds of affiliated RV resorts and campgrounds in the U.S. and Canada, literally from coast to coast, become available to you and your family for only a few dollars a night.
Coast to Coast has partnered with Camping World to provide RVers interested in learning more about Coast to Coast and membership camping with a free 3-day/2-night stay at one of the beautiful membership campgrounds in the Coast network.
Just visit www.CampingWorld.com/Vacations to find out which Coast to Coast resorts are participating and to book your free stay!
Thank you for your interest in Coast to Coast!
Jyl S. - Old-BiscuitExplorer IIIBe careful of 'promotions'
Some places place a 1-2 year restriction on membership eligibility. If you go to a promotion and do not buy and then purchase via resale it will not be recognized.
They (home park) want you to join via them ($$$$$$) vs buying resale ($$).
And most won't tell you of that 'restriction' until after promo - docsdockExplorerWe got talked into Coast to Coast in Seattle Wash. Told we would pay for it on our trip across to NY then back to Texas - Found very few camp grounds and when we did worst sights. Lots of money for no return. Also told we could transfer to Texas when we got home - Nope - after many calls I was offered Passport at no entry fee - that's because there is not one. Worst thing we purchased for the RV -
- carl2591Explorer IIII see coast to coast membership being advertised for sale on craigslist at times and have wondered if they are worth the money..
sounds like NOT.
