Thanks. We've only been RV'ing for one year, but after seeing how other drivers seem to believe that we're really just big cars, with the ability to move, maneuver, avoid, and stop as easily as them, there really isn't any means or avenue for us to better protect ourselves.
Having had a career in EMS as a Paramedic for 24 years, I have seen, first hand, how other drivers make some pretty bad decisions. I have also witnessed how differently the "system" of responsibility and fault changes with the presence of recordable drive-cam systems. The company I last worked for had them installed in all vehicles and it greatly assisted in quite a few litigations, proving innocence when no other proof existed. The insurance company LOVED that.
