That is not what the brochure states exactly. It states:
"Our 24-hour, 365-days-a-year dispatch center is available with
one toll-free call. There are no pre-set mileage or dollar limits.
When you call for service, Good Sam Roadside Assistance pays
100% of the towing fees for the delivery of your vehicle to the
nearest professional service center capable and willing to repair
your vehicle. However, you must request disablement assistance
through our telephone dispatch center within 24 hours of the
disablement. If you make any request for your vehicle to be taken
to a location other than the nearest professional service center,
including your home, the mileage fee (for the extra distance
in excess of the nearest licensed repair center) will be at your
expense. "
The OP I now think is trying to make the case that although the service center was capable of making the repair it was not willing because of the delay in even looking at the rig. OP STATES "She said that they were down one mechanic and that they wouldn't even be able to look at it until Monday." This is not a shop willing to make the repair! If GSRA considers this to be acceptable then the question I as a subscriber need answered is HOW LONG A WAIT BEFORE THE RIG IS LOOKED AT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE TO GSRA? one week, 10 days, 2 weeks? When does it become unwilling to do the work?
I personally think that GSRA should reconsider the reimbursement.
