I think What is missing is GSRA, is going to tow you to the nearest authorized repair facility. Authorized meaning they (the repair facility is part of the Allstate network) Which is the network GSRA uses. They may tow you past 50 shops that could do the work, but are not part of the network.
I understand the OP's frustration. But they did tow her, to a shop that was willing and able to do the work. Just not in what she considered a timely fashion. Is getting towed in on Friday, on Thanksgiving day weekend and having to wait till Monday reasonable. In my opinion probably. I would be frustrated as well, but I don't think the wait would be considered unreasonable. So in that vein I would say GSRA did what they were contracted to do. And if it were me and I wanted faster service, then that would be on me to pay for it.
I think it would be difficult to find any shop open 24/7 with mechanics standing around waiting for GSRA to call. Shops and mechanics are people too they get to go home and have family time as well.
