This is not a situation that occurs frequently to an rver. It is difficult to make a snap decision much less know how the system works if one has never had to use it.
I think the policy is very clear as stated above by darsben1. It's obvious the first service was not willing to help the OP and I am sure that Monday would have rolled around and there would have been other obstacles that would have kept the OP from getting back on the road. This is just a matter of reimbursing the customer. Why do they try to make things so difficult in the first place? I shouldn't have to read the fine print. They sell you a service and it shouldn't have some shady clauses hidden inside the policy.
I can get a tow from any mac on the road, when you sign up for GS it should be for good customer service.
