The reason I am asking is that when given our payment information for our new class c we are getting this weekend, they of course mentioned a 7 yr warranty. Of course it was high and I could probably get it for less when I go to sign the paperwork. I know they are trying to make money and most of e time those things are money makers for them. But they quoted me $50 more a month for a 7 yr plan. Over 20 years of payments that would be $12,000. They probably are charging about $7000 for the warranty.
Anyway, I logged onto the CW ESP website and put in the info for the rig and it came up to around $3600 for the 7 yr period and it was a pay as you go. Granted almost $50 a month, but it was for only the 7 yr period and not for an additional 13 years. Plus, the rig has a 1 yr warranty no matter what and the ford parts are 3 yr/36 months. So the first year to three years would be worthless of the warranty.
If they are basically the same thing, then this is just a heads up for ose getting ready to by a camper and might be interested in them. While they are not for everyone, I do see where they can offer peace of mind.
