I joined GS Club for 2 years on November 8th 2014 at the Chicago area CW (Wacuanda IL) at the register. I have received my membership cards.However I have NOT received even one of the 4 free issues of Trailer Life that was part of the deal,Nor have I had any correspondence from Trailer Life about the 4 free issues.When I tried to pick up the January copy of TL at my local Barnes and Noble where I have bought the last 5 copies They didnt have it. Although they did have Motor Home Magazine (same publisher and owned by Good Sam Enterprises.)B&N told me after some research that Trailer Life may not put out a January issue and that they are changing their PAD number?? Similar to the ISBN.I sent an e mail to Trailer Life through their Contact Us link and got no answer.So please tell me when I can expect my 4 free issues and please clear up the confusion of why no Trailer Life for January?Thank YouAlan Perry

I have been waiting many months for Motorhome magazine offer, nothing either. Sadly, they are a shell of what they used to be, and I just scan periodically at Barnes & Noble.

Do they really still print and mail a magazine?

I signed up as I was instructed. Got nothing. Called customer service and was told they would make sure I got my missed magazine and the next three were set up to be mailed to me. Short time later I received my missed copy...nothing since that's been over a year ago or so. Good luck.

4X4Dodger, I’ve reached out to the Trailer Life team to get an answer on the Jan issue at Barnes & Noble. We sincerely apologize that you did not receive a response to your original question to Trailer Life directly.Regarding the 4 free issues, they are on a set schedule (March, May, July & Sept.) and are on a go-forward basis. You joined the club in Nov. of 2014 so your 4 free issues will start with the March 2015 issue. You’ll then receive the 2015 May, July & Sept. issues. I see in the system that your preference is set as you noted—watch for the March issue to arrive in mid Feb. While the print copies are on a go-forward basis, you can always view the digital issues at GoodSamClub.com/highways.AZRick, You noted non receipt of MotorHome. I looked you up in the system & do not see that you’ve set your preference. I’ve set your preference for MotorHome by mail. Rollnhome, I see that your preference was set some time ago. I joined Good Sam in July and asked for Trailer Life as my magazine preference. On my online account, I also see it listed; however, I haven't received an issue.

I've tried emailing to see if I could get some help with this, but I haven't heard back.

Anyone able to help with this?

Appreciate your help.

We decided a few years ago since we were only making a couple of trips at the most each year that we would not renew our Camping card. Patti retires sometime in August and then we will do some traveling.

Is there any chance you could looking at your Good Sam Roadside Assistance card? The system shows your Good Sam Roadside Assistance membership expiring Dec. 31, 2015. The system shows your Good Sam Club membership expired in July 2014. The 4 free issues are with the Good Sam Club membership.

I'm showing that you had not selected your preference for which magazine you preferred, that's why you wouldn't have received. Note that your Club membership expired in July. To receive the free issues, you'd need to renew your Club membership. Then, select your magazine preference at GoodSamClub.com/magazine.

We have never received a copy to the best of my knowledge. I am guessing we have not been checking the box. Should we go online and make the make any changes.

the 4 free issues are for any Good Sam Club member once the member has selected a preference for MotorHome or Trailer Life.

getting back to you on why Barnes & Noble didn’t have Jan. Trailer Life…the magazine team advised that the wholesaler mistakenly didn’t place the Jan. order for bookstore copies. Other newsstand outlets will have the Jan. issue, and Barnes & Noble will have the Feb. issue.

Thank You to the latest Good Sam Club Team person who answered our questions directly and took ACTION. This is what should have happened in the first response from the "Team"

I am sure that the others join me in saying we appreciate your efforts.

A suggestion: It might lessen some confusion if one was notified of the cycle the free mags are sent on instead of just leaving us hanging.
