A quick web search show that I can get a special lifetime rate of $299 (as a Veteran). I may really consider it now! What should I bring as proof, my DD-214? While my Texas Driver License doesn't show veteran status, my CHL does, would that be sufficient?

A Lifetime membership is available for purchase by calling Member Services at 1-800-234-3450.

Rather than receiving a bill each year, Life members pay a special one-time dues payment and never have to pay club dues again.

Life members save 6¢ on gas & 8¢ on diesel with the RV Plus Charge Card.

All members save 5¢ on gas & 8¢ on diesel with your Club membership card.

Thanks for your quick reply. It looks like the program works exactly as I thought it would. I really don't need another credit card, so I'll be happy with what regular GS membership offers.

I have noticed several references to "Lifetime Membership" with GS. How much does that cost, and why hasn't that option been solicited to me via e-mail once I joined?

Pilot Flying J's RV Plus Charge Card offers Life & Elite Club members higher savings on fuel. Separate application process is required and required form of payment is the RV Plus Charge Card. Find details here.

Hmmm,

I just joined GS a month ago, when we were just about to buy our current motor home, and we were looking at discounts for the insurance.

Not knowing how the fuel discount worked, I just assumed that I would swipe my GS membership card through the reader like we do with other loyalty program cards. Is there an actual Pilot/Flying J discount card that I should have also received?
