I just got my annual motor home insurance bill from State Farm, been with them 48 Years, it went up from $704. to $741. I started shopping around getting quotes. Good Sam (GMAC or whatever company they went with wants $420. a year, and that includes my car! Something is fishy. Got a quote from progressive, they give you three, good, better, and best $125.00 a year, $714. a year, or $850. a year. Then got one from Allied, I guess that is Nationwide for $521.75. What a difference in prices, I'm going to talk to Farmers Ins. this week. I am worried that if I go with one of these cut rate insurance companies and I have a claim that I have to fight with them over the phone where as with State Farm I can walk up to my local office and sit down and talk with my agent. My head is spinning!
