Good Sam Diagnostyic Fee Coverage

Question

While on a trip to Florida recently, we had a problem with a slide which was diagnosed by Camping World techs. Since I was on a trip I could not wait for the parts and repairs (which I was told would take weeks) and so was charged over $150 diagnostic fee but assured that it would be covered so long as I had the repair done at Camping World in New Jersey.
However, CW in NJ states they have to do their own diagnostics (understandable) and will be charging for it regardless of the fees already paid at the Florida facility. Good Sam Insurance states they have no control over what is charged at the dealer but will cover 'reasonable' diagnostic fees, but not two for the same repair. Seems like I have to fight this one out with CW and wondering if anyone has any advice on how to proceed.

Since the work was done at Camping World, I will insure that you do not have to pay for the second diagnostic fee out of pocket.  If you can forward me the work order with the second diagnostic fee, I will make sure you are reimbursed for the fee.

I have a dropoff appointment at CW in NJ for May 28th to complete the repairs and will send documentation when received.  In FL I was also charged $59+ diagnostic fee for them to tell me that CW in VA sold me the wrong blade for the bathroom exhaust fan. (My fan has a splined shaft rather than the current 'D' shape). After paying this ridiculous fee for a simple look at the fan shaft (about 10 seconds 'labor')I was told the part was not available - so without the repair the fee "had to be applied". I asked the NJ CW to fix that as well and hope there is not another diagnostic fee. Thanks again for your offer - I will be in touch soon.

Get rid of the Good Sam plan and get another one. The Good Sam of the past is now owned by none other than Camping World now..See the picture?
