Good Sam Life Membership

My membership is coming up for renewal shortly and We'd really like to renew and mainly as a life member. But in reality we're not sure how long "life" or RVing life is going to be. We are in our 70's and not the best of health, but still love the traveling and outdoors. As a 100% disabled Vet, how can I get the best deal on membership?

  • I think an annual renewal is best for you given your age and health. We ALL hope to RV for many years but life changes happen. The number of years for lifetime to equal annual renewal says it all for me. Annual seems a no brainer. Be healthy and travel long!!!
  • Best deal? If your looking at it for the campground discount, look at Passport America.

Thankyou for your service! Thank all the Vet's on this forum for their service!

  • At the annual rate of $27, you would have to renew for 11 years before the life membership at $299 would pay for itself. If you are in your 70's with not the best of health, do you really think you will be RVing or even alive in 11 years? Answer that question and you will know if the life membership is for you.

Wow! In 2010 or 2011 they offered a veteran discount for a little over $100.00. As stated above, all I had to do is show them my DD214.

I guess Marcus is saving money with this new policy.

Affinity now known as Good Sam Enterprises was teetering on bankruptcy when they offered those deals.

  • Call customer service and talk to them. they used to a special price for Vets to get lifetime membership. All I had to do was scan and email a copy of my DD214.
