Good Sam RA Disappointment

This past Saturday afternoon, after changing a blow-out thirty miles west of Custer WY, I called GS requesting assistance in locating a tire shop. There were unable to perform this simple task, once in the CG it took less than ten minutes on the smart phone. The following day, we drove thirty minutes to Rapid City and purchased the new tire at Wal Mart.

If GS can't do this, what can they do?

  • As stated in our brochure, even the standard, least-expensive plan includes:

    RV?Concierge service
    While traveling, call 1-800-947-0770, and a live concierge agent
    will assist in:
    • Locating: RV Repair Facilities, RV Parts Facilities and
    Retail Stores, Service Facilities, Fuel Locations, Dump
    Station Locations, and other points of interest to RVers
    such as Rest Stops
    • Helping locate lodging (including Campgrounds & RV Parks)
    • Offering a list of the nearest restaurants
    • Pointing out National Parks and Historic Sites
    • Emergency Message Relay Services

    I think the OP has a legitimate complaint since this service was not provided.
  • If you'd already changed the tire, why call GSRA at all? Sounds like you should have called information..it would have been quicker and gotten you the info you needed. You don't say WHY they were unable to perform for you, but I guess you figured it out once you got to Rapid City...:h...Dennis
