I believe (hope) it's just a authorization type test. I am not on the automatic renewal plan.

- RognBonExplorerIf you are a GoodSam member you probably used that credit card to join and authorized automatic renewal. Approximately 45 days before the renewal date, GoodSam submits a "test" charge to the card on file to make sure the card is still active. If it is not they will contact you to update your card information. They will also send a postcard to let you know that your renewal is coming up and the card on file will be charged. I have been doing it this way for several years. By doing automatic renewal you save a few dollars off the annual membership fee.
