Good Sam Site coments

thank you that is right on the money. I was wondering where the Good Sam 3-tier ratings came from... For the record we are very happy with the ratings happy with every park all 4 we have been at. We are very new to RVing.

You are correct...Good Sam Parks are not franchised parks or owned by Good Sam. They are independently owned parks and campgrounds.Parks have to meet certain criteria and rating minimums in order to qualify to become Good Sam affiliated. Our rep teams -- all experienced RVers -- inspect and rate private parks all across the US and Canada and assign the Good Sam 3-tier ratings (i.e. 10/10*/10) -- which is what we publish on our website. We don't have user reviews at this time. Thanks. Ann

I don't believe that there are Good sam parks, just private owned RV parks that offer A Good sam discount and to be a good sam park they have to meet certain conditions, but then they are still a private rv park that just honors Good sam members with a discount. So if you want to comment about a private park go to RV park reviews and find the name of your park in the city and state and leave your comments there.

I don't think users can add reviews on Good Sam. Those reviews are done by staff, not casual users.

Thanks for the response, I did check out RVParkReviews.com. The Good Sam android app has ratings where do they come from?

Check them out they are subject related and might be interesting to you. You are not limited to only posting on the Good Sam forum. :W
