In the mail today I received an offer for Medical Travel Assistance...Family Plan from Good Sam Club for $59.99......I did a bit of research and this is a great deal. It offers everything that my MedJet Assist offers and I'm paying over $200 for MedJet and they won't get my RV home if I fall ill.I'm not sure if this plan is open to everyone or only Good Sam long time members. I called and signed up for two years at this rate. You can sign up for up to three years.Last year my wife and I were on a cruise and she fell and broke her femur. To fly her home from Florida to Massachusetts on a medical jet with a nurse was $23,000! (I had let my MedJet Assist lapse last year....Ugh!)I have no association with this plan or company I'm just reporting what I feel is a great deal you might want to take advantage of.

I hope their Medical Assist is NOT like their roadside assist

Did you pay $23,000 ?

If so why not just do the medical work in Florida and have your medical insurance pay for that and than check into a weekly unit for 2 to 3 weeks till she feels better and than take a normal flight home, seems like it could be done for less than $3500 if you include food.

Than have all follow up medical done in Massachusetts.

But yes, I suspect in the very near future, FMCA will be opened up to towables.:C

I thought FMCA was only for motorized not trailers. When did they start accepting members with trailers?

I heard that FMCA was going to vote on accepting trailers for membership; but I've not heard a result yet.

I am sorry but this is not something I would "take a chance" on. A "Smokin' Deal" is good. A "Smokin Deal" that does not help, because of loop hholes, is not a deal, it becomes a problem, that I or my wife would suffer through.

I would request the policy and verify that it does what I need. I would not replace an expensive "can do" policy with a big savings on a "might do" policy.

That is what the web site says. If you received the special mailing, you will get the family plan for $59.99.....I called and joined over the phone with no issues.

There are more loopholes in this policy than a fishing net.

For $59.99 I'll take my chances that you are incorrect....I hope I never find out!
