Good Sam Visa

I tried to get a Good Sam Visa today. I full time in my RV, use a PO Box and mainly stay at a couple of campgrounds now. I do not have a street address just my PO Box. I would think that a company representing Good Sam would understand no street address. I wonder how many card holders use the Good Sam Mail Forwarding. Again they have a different kind of PO Box but are never at the address. This does not make since to me. Needless to say I did not get a Good Sam Visa card.

How can i get easily and conveniently and in a short time the Good Sam Visa today ? Please guide me because i have been made confused by few people.

If you go to RV.Net Up on the top there is a tab for RV Credit Card.
  • It is a very easy process for a creditor with a subpoena or a written waiver (which may be part of the lending agreement), or a governmental agency to obtain a street address from a PO Box, private or USPS. Some states may require a street address for a drivers' license, but not all. Likewise some, but not all, banks may require a street address before extending credit. After all, it's their money so they retain that ability.

Well for a long time now the government has been looking at our phone and internet usage and they should darn good and well know where we are at any time so the bottom line is that they do not need for us to supply all that information as they already have it. :)

I use my PO Box on my Driver's license. I use PO Box on my Federal Tax Return.

Absolutely correct. To extend credit the law requires a street address. Also, banks are told that mail forwarding addresses do not meet the letter of the law, so many banks also refuse to honor those addresses as well. As an aside, Good Sam does not issue credit cards. They partner will large card issuers to have an affinity card. Good Sam makes no credit decisions, that is left up to the card issuer, which is usually a bank.
  • Can't speak for GS or FMCA forwarding, but Escapee forwarding in Livingston TX is a fully functioning "street address" it is on my TX Drivers License and associated with the TX plates on my coach and car. I get my health insurance and vehicle insurance at that address and that is my voting and tax paying address as well. It has been tested in a court case and it is recognized. We do stop by every so often just to say hi.

  • We used our UPS Store address and got one a few years ago. I like that we get 3X points when we charge the CG rent.
  • Gosh, I'm thinking that maybe they did you a favor...I wouldn't want to carry Good Sam's picture around in my wallet...My wife thinks he looks like some kind of creepy clown....:)
