Good Sam vs Auto Insurance

We were traveling through Corpus Christi, TX Tuesday, November 1. Had a blowout. I'm disabled. Called Good Sam. Said they would text or call us with information about who they were sending out and estimated time of arrival. We waited about 45 minutes and still had not heard anything. Called back and had to go through giving them all our information again! Finally they told us it would be about 3 more HOURS before someone could get to us! We told them we were extremely disappointed with them. We decided to call our auto insurance company. We have towing and labor coverage. They had someone respond within 15 minutes! Good Sam is Bad Sam (B.S.) to us! Not worth bothering with!

    What good does it do to "follow up" now?? I guess it gets this thread off the forum faster but otherwise you know what you need to do to fix things.
  • My Farmer's agent says they'll take care of any and all issues we might have; no need for RSA.

    These complaints come up here all the time. Seems The Profit can fix everybody else's company except his own.
  • I,ve read these reports for years, just my .02 cents worth it all depends on who you get on the phone. I think some of the rsa phone people have no idea what there doing.
  • I'm thinking GS does not have access to all potential services. Maybe they don't pay them promptly or enough? I don't know! We have been GS members and Camping World customers for over 13 years. This is not our first bad experience with them. We will be looking elsewhere and sharing our sentiment with other RV owners!
