Good Sam vs BCAA

Is their anyone out there who has had any experience With Good Sam Roadside vs BCAA. In particular, am wondering if you have had to use Good Sam in British Columbia, Canada, or BCAA in the US.
I presently have BCAA plus RV, but it is more costly than what Good Sam is offering, for what looks like similar service.
I am considering switching, but would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has had experience with this. I am close to retirement, and will be travelling in both Canada and the US, with a 5th wheel.

  • I have Good Sam. In Saskatchewan we both stepped out and the doors slammed shut. We had no way of getting back in and flagged down a passing motorist that had a cell phone. They called a local tow truck and he came out 25 miles to jimmy us in in about 3 seconds. $100 + GST. I paid it, and called Good Sam. They sent me the money promptly when I explained we were without wallets, phones, jackets and had no way.

Second call, Death Valley front 4 by 4 bearing. Picked up the truck and camper onto a low bed semi and took me to Vegas. Almost $1000 for the tow. No problem.

    GS for me without question.
