good sam/coachnet
I've had good sam roadside assistance for my rv's and when I bought my new Itasca, it came with a free year of coachnet. Coach net did not cover my cars So I now have two roadside assistance policies.

Their top camper package covers your pull behind camper and truck/car for $139: Coverage includes Member, spouse and dependent children ages 24 and under, for one RV and all other personal vehicles owned, rented, borrowed or leased.
Their top Motorized RV (including everything you own) package is $159 so I have no idea where you got $1,000 from.

So for $159 they cover your car or truck, RV, and any utility or boat trailers you might have. I checked with them and you do not have to be pulling a camper for car or truck coverage. They will come to your house and jump start your car if need be.
