good sam/coachnet
I've had good sam roadside assistance for my rv's and when I bought my new Itasca, it came with a free year of coachnet. Coach net did not cover my cars So I now have two roadside assistance policies.

I agree that it should not be anywhere near a thousand and I don't think your not telling the truth. But goes to show that any company is liable to give you what appears to be, incorrect information.
