After I voiced a complaint on this forum about the Good Sam insurance company (Nat Gen) wanting to increase my RV premium by $200 because I was going to store it 10 miles away in a secure, covered, lighted storage area instead of at home, I got almost immediate action. One of their reps read my story, pm'ed me for more details and within two hours I had a call from a company rep who had researched the situation and determined that their agent was wrong in telling me there was an additional $200 policy premium increase. In fact, RVs stored within 100 miles of the owners residence add no increase to the premium. Cars are a different story but the point is that my situation was quickly corrected because I aired it on the GS Forums. I would call that company and ask to speak to a supervisor to question that $1000 dollar figure.
