Different people to call. I imagine that they have a set list of people that they call. Progressive may have different people on the list or an expanded list. They also might have a more appealing contract than GSRA does. One thing I read somewhere online was that insurance companies that have the roadside service will often treat them as claims. Not sure if it's true, but it sounds possible. That low cost add on to the insurance could end up costing someone in the long run. If I had it, I would definitely look into it with the company. Just looked on the consumeraffairs.com website about Progressive and on a complaint listed as of Oct 11, 2013, they said...

I received a nonrenewal notice the other day because I had "more than 9 claims in the last 36 months" on my policy. Thinking it was a mistake, I logged into my account on their website and discovered they listed me as having only ONE claim. I called them, and they informed me that every time I called Roadside Assistance (their free to me) service for unlocking my car, it was considered a claim. And that furthermore, I had used 12 of these claims in the last 36 months and I was being dropped cold turkey.

I asked why only 1 claim showed on my account, and they said it was a "comprehensive" claim. I received only RUDE and nasty service from both men I spoke with, and they were extremely unhelpful. When asking to speak to their managers, they said I must write to corporate to complain. When asked to SEE MY 12+ CLAIMS, I WAS TOLD I NEEDED TO WRITE TO A DIFFERENT COMPANY. Un-bleeping-believable. I have been a customer for 7 years, and I am HORRIFIED AND EXTREMELY PISSED. I would not recommend anyone to work with Progressive.
