GS & Splendide

Question

I just wanted to inform everyone that may have the older Splendide model 2000 that the main circuit board(control module)is no longer available through Westland Sales.  They are the sole source of supply for Splendide in this country.  Mine quit last night.  My Gold Ext Serv policy claims its good for stand-alone appliance replacement.  Not so much when you try to file a claim.  I sent a privat message to the GS Care Team asking for assistance. We'll see how things turn out.

Our administrator confirmed what you already know- the parts are no longer available.  Are you working with a repair facility to price a replacement?

Yes, there is a local repair facility that I had gone to that found the defective part.  They also contacted Westland Sales( the sole source for Splendide in the country) to try to locate the part.

I just wanted to let everyone know that an exceptable agreement has been reached.  I want to thank GS one again for good customer service.  Having this Dear Marcus forum was a brilliant idea.  Thanks again GS. :B
