GS email

100 times out of 100, I'd say that ANY email directly asking for credit card or any other personal info is going to be a scam.

I get about 2 to 3 phone calls a day on our home phone that are obviously scammers. Now, they're starting to call my cell number as well! I'd like to know who is now handing out our cell numbers to telemarketers?!

So much for the "Do not call registry" :R

scam! get them all the time, it looks like the real website but just fill out the request with rather questionable details such as Dick Head as the name and make up some numbers and just wait for the response.

I believe GoodSams response is appropriate in this situation. For them to make a blanket statement without knowing the facts of exactly what the e-mail says or where it originated would be a disservice to the op and the forum members. Tom, the GoodSam administrator, has indicated that when he has all the facts he will respond with his findings. There's no big secret conspiracy lurking here.

I just wanted to see the email they sent you so I could verify its origin before making a comment on the situation. If you could send me the email I would be happy to post my findings onto the forum and notify the proper parties in my company about the situation as well.

Just wanted to alert fellow RVers.

Obviously I will not comply with the demands of the email.

X3......starting to receive scam phone calls from NY. Also about once a week on our PayPal acct.
