GS fails to deliver "peace of mind" & reliability

Hello ALL. I probably won't post another thread or respond anymore, because I am very busy being a CAREGIVER. I've had Caregiver courses through the JAX Mayo Clinic. Thousands of YOU are Caregivers, so you know the variables involved. I met many patients and their care givers who said that their care "PROVIDERS" gave up on them and told them to go home to prepare for the end. INstead, the patients went to the MAYO CLINIC and now they are alive and living well beyond the death sentence they were given. You would not believe how stream-lined and strategic MAYO's care system is. Astonishingly, CAREGIVERS are treated like VIPs. MAYO isn't 100% perfect from my view, but still the very best you can do for yourself or a loved one. I consider myself to be a VIP CAREGIVER / CONSUMER! I love MAYO CLINIC!

I just wanted to tell some seriously sick folks and their caregivers not to give up before they've tried every avenue to recover or be cured. God Bless YOU Caregivers - it's so difficult & heartbreaking, isn't it, to watch someone suffering so much?

I called GS when I needed help. I called GS afterward, to report the Ardmore OK incident, but got no response. Why at this late date do they care? I should call GS or the CEO again? Heck NO! No amount of remuneration (which I did not/do not ask for) will undo what has happened to me and my husband. My neighbor got an ad from GS just TODAY. The ad says GS will send an emergency vehicle or a helicopter. GS didn't offer that when we told the operator that my husband had Cirrhosis complications and he wasn't able to spend the night on the side of the highway? SHE said she was sorry & the next male operator said he too was sorry! But we didn't need that service. We merely needed our truck towed into town; we'd be able to get a motel room & my husband could elevate his legs, take his meds, and then REST. We'd get the necessary truck repairs and be on our way back to NM quickly, we assumed. When I called GS, I truly thought we were SAFE. NADA ZILCH.

GS did not live up the hype of their commercials, pamphlets, ads? While stranded on the side of the highway, we tried to call other tow services by calling 411. All wrong numbers when we called them? But because of a wrong number, that is how Rick JONES, the Good Samaritan came to find us! Another long story. Rick asked us to simply pay it forward. Wouldn't accept money. He loaned us his Tahoe to get back to NM, wouldn't take any money. We hope to report Rick Jones to Ellen Degenres if I can get through. As I said before, I am mostly illiterate on the computer.

My husband and me, spend all our money mostly on medical care. We are not loafers or leeches. We try to be self-sufficient and not a burden on society. We try to be financially prepared for all emergencies, but GS proved to be a burden on us. Our truck is also our livlihood once my husband gets well. We own our own business and we have never tried to cheat a customer. My husband will SURVIVE if my life depends on it, and if I must sound an alarm for others out there who may be saved from going though all this hell, just watch me!

Once my husband has a liver transplant, he then begins the HEP C treatments, otherwise, the liver is wasted! Our support group says HEP C treatment following liver transplant is AWFUL. The medical professionals all know that Hepatitis is epidemic now. All you fine folks should get tested. If discovered early, it can be treated & cured. Most cases, HEP C goes undetected for two or three decades - then suddenly it is too late to seek easy quick cure. YOU could end up going through the nightmare that my husband and me are enduring. It is so simple; just get tested. Doesn't hurt a bit.

Some folks have belittled Lactulose, which my husband needs almost as much as oxygen. That fella making the wise cracks, sounds like he needs lactulose to quell his encephalopathic statements.

RandACampin can almost be assured of even better GS service than he's already been getting. EVERYONE I would bet, gets better service now that I have blown a LOUD whistle. I bet I would get VIP treatment too, but I ain't going back, I'm too bitter over this horrific event.

My delivery style of this message was criticized? Well, if Paul Revere had been riding a donkey or an ostrich, etc, instead of a trusty steed, I suppose his shouting "The British are Coming" would have been sadly ignored? Could we all be British Subjects today?

I hope that my post doesn't get modified by the moderator. Just looks out of context when that happens. I have given some caring concerned information to YOU ALL. I don't know how often I can peek in to see how you all are doing, so GO, Prosper, and be Well!
