GS Trip Planner, can I capture screan shots 4 power point

Hi,

I am planning a round trip from MA to SD using the most shortest Northern route. I have chosen campgrounds and fuel stations that show up along the way basing things on what I should expect mileage between CG's. Per a few peoples input, I moved the route further away from Metro Chicago area. So I think I have a better than rough draft ready to go.

Here's my question: I want to make a Power Point presentation that will show the route we are taking and all fuel and CG stops. I may want to expand on those stops and show any detail worth noting. Does anyone know how I can do such a thing?

We are travelling with another family and want to "present it to them" and make it somewhat interactive.

I don't have the GPS's you can download into. I do have an old Garmin 750 still working, plus the built-in for the 2011 Yukon with original maps. (I'm weary of spending the money for a newer version disk for that old Yukon). Smart phone has WAZE which is helpful.

Anyone do something similar?

Thanks
Normy

Use Snip and paste it into the Powwer Point pages.

You can even mark or highlights to write over your comments or important points.

That sound like something I want to do, any good tutorials out there you recommend.

    Thanks

    Hope this helps.

Maybe this should be a different post, as reading through some older posts and a reply PM I received, I am also looking at google maps and importing into google earth etc. The problem is, they only you tube video tutorials I found have either different versions of google maps and mine I'm assuming is latest is so much different than these videos.

I wanted to add Google Route Planner to my chrome, but even though it says "added", I can't find it at all? I'm wondering if these are discontinued or you have to pay for them. Either way, if I have them I cant find them.

    Anyone using these?

As I said this might be a different post? I added it here just because I am having a devil of a time using the Good Sam trip planner.

    Thanks

Unsure of what's loaded. It's windows 10 on a laptop. I hardly use anything but email, forum, internet. I do have the Office suit which should have power point. Last time I used power point was windows 2003.

    Thanks

If you have a Windows PC the simplest way would be to hit the Print Screen button. It should be on the upper right of your keyboard labeled something like "Prt Scr". This will capture the whole screen. Open up Windows Paint and click "Paste" then save the image. If you just want a portion of the screen, you could use the Windows Snipping Tool.

Hi, This is what I want. But the print screen insists on using One Drive cloud storage which I never use. Even when I choose no thanks?

Can I just save to a folder on the PC like the old days? LOL.

    Thanks
