Hi,I am planning a round trip from MA to SD using the most shortest Northern route. I have chosen campgrounds and fuel stations that show up along the way basing things on what I should expect mileage between CG's. Per a few peoples input, I moved the route further away from Metro Chicago area. So I think I have a better than rough draft ready to go.Here's my question: I want to make a Power Point presentation that will show the route we are taking and all fuel and CG stops. I may want to expand on those stops and show any detail worth noting. Does anyone know how I can do such a thing?We are travelling with another family and want to "present it to them" and make it somewhat interactive. I don't have the GPS's you can download into. I do have an old Garmin 750 still working, plus the built-in for the 2011 Yukon with original maps. (I'm weary of spending the money for a newer version disk for that old Yukon). It should be on the upper right of your keyboard labeled something like "Prt Scr". This will capture the whole screen. Open up Windows Paint and click "Paste" then save the image. If you just want a portion of the screen, you could use the Windows Snipping Tool.Here's a couple of captures from Streets & Trips:

do you have a snipping tool on your pc, you can take shots with it

Use Snip and paste it into the Powwer Point pages.You can even mark or highlights to write over your comments or important points.

I'm going to start a new post specific to importing Google Map into Google Earth. Clearly I am not savvy enough to get it right, and the video's I saw are of different versions and I think Apple?

The setting and any help files on my version are not clear or have exactly my needs.

I know there are quite a few of you that do this stuff in your sleep. So lets tap into the best here who enjoy teaching this stuff.

Thanks, I was able to do it, now I can't seem to upload a saved shot to post here. Only option is to have a URL? Was able to upload the same screen shot to IRV2 forum, they had a picture upload choice I can't find here?

That is the sentiment I was reading in older and closed posts. I think the app is good for what it can do, but boy it could be really integrated if they are "willing" to put some horse power behind it.

Fix it, make it powerful, then market it for adding new membership. There has to be a bunch of folks out there leaving Good Sam or not considering joining

True! I suggested, even wrote Marcus, they can be one-stop shop for services and supplies for all things RV if they can emulate Amazon/Toyota in customer service and responsiveness. A management and corporate culture for these organizations.

But I think it fell on deaf ears -- or won't deploy the resources to be able to be one and achieve it.

agree, there are some features it's lacking they should really consider adding.

Then another apps to find campgrounds with full details of the facilities, then go to another/website to book, etc. etc.

Good Sam not only need "some" but a lot.

Even Camping World and Good Sam website are not integrated and linked and 2nd rate. Sorry, I would love the to excel as they'll be a good resource if they can or will.

I guess the Google Route Planner doesn't exist anymore. I went back to see if I can choose it again, but it said Oops, can't find it.

Too bad they don't add a couple of good features needed on the GS Trip planner. I think there are a lot more campground choices than the GS trip planner allows? At least that's what I think, not really sure.

I used Good Sam trip planner for it's integration with locations of Pilot/Flying J gas stations/truck stops.

But I have to use Google maps for navigation and not Good Sam's Rand Mcnally. I have confidence with former and have not used the latter.

Of course I wish Good Sam's Trip Planner has more all the features I want and need. But then again...if wishes were horses...
