Well, I just had a very unpleasant interaction with Good Sam Roadside Assistance. I have had this service for 3 years but this i sthe first time I have had to use them.I discovered that both of my outside duel tires in back were flat. I attempted to inflate one them but the valve stem was what was leaking and I assume that is what is wrong with the other one. I called Good Sam fully expecting that they would tow the rig in and have the tires repaired. NOPE. Because it was one tire on each side they wouldn't tow it. They wouldn't repair it, period. Their only solution was for me to buy two new tires from them! I was talking with a supervisor, too.Wanna bet I don't continue using them for road side assistance? Hope you folks can learn from my experience.

I would not jump out and blame GSRA for what their contractor does or say. It could be they are not following the guide lines.I hope GS comes on and gives a straight answer not one of their private messages.

As a matter, yes!Many tow companies try to get as much from individuals that they can squeeze out of you.OP: did you report this to GS? Did you tell GS that it was tire issue?

Why would you replace the tire if the valve stem was at fault? Only time a valve stem pulls in on a flat tire is if it is a tube. There is more to this story for sure. Not to many RVs with tube type tires out there! Maybe the tires were driven flat to the point that they had come off the bead and were ruined. The valve stem would not re inflate if they were off bead. Not a GS member but gotta say it is not their fault, tire service probably told them tires were junk from being run flat. 3 million plus miles of over the road tells me this is probably what happened IMHO

Here is a side question, never having had any experience to do with duallys. What are the odds of both outside tires being flat at the same time? Learning question here.

If I had two flat tires and someone showed up to replace on the spot I would pay and move along down the road. Although I might insist on four tires and new stems so the tires would be matched.

Otherwise best to contract as needed and pay cash on the spot if you want to do it your way.

So what would have been the correct solution? Probably have a tire truck go to them and patch the two tires. If tires not repairable....further thinking is required.

Both outside tires flat. Nobody should drive or tow a MH with both outside tires flat. VERY UNSTABLE.
Also the weight usually carried by four tires is only on two. Way overloaded. If you were driving you are very lucky you didn't lose control or blow out the other two tires. Instead of bashing GS , I hope you learn something from this.

Seems like the OP had two good tires on the back.
Seems like the OP thinks he can't drive with two flat tires, but it's OK if the tow company tows him.
Seems like if the tow ruins the two flat tires, OP thinks somebody but him will pay for the now bad tires.
Seems like OP could have removed the flat tires and drove to the tire place.
JMHO.

Everybody probably correct that GS will not give a good response.
I am only saying that it is the vendor/contractor for them that is most likely the problem.
GS needs to take corrective action and let everybody know what is being done to clean up their act.
