Too bad. Not only did we loose a Lifetime Membership benefit, but you lost $99.

I think it was only for your kids, not just any family member.

Please take the time to point out to me where, in either of my posts, did I say that I was looking to purchase a Life Time Membership for anyone other than one of my children. In fact when I called customer service I told them I wanted to purchase a $99 Life Time Membership for my son, and was told that I couldn't. As a Good Sam Chapter officer, I brought this offer to the attention of our membership earlier this year. Subsequently, two of our (Life Time) Members looked into the same offer for their children, and were also declined.

You mentioned in your original post "family member". You did not specify if it was a child of yours or not. Family member could mean brother, sister, mother, father, aunt, uncle, cousin, etc...

I apologize, but in your post on 10/31/13 09:44am, you stated you had called member services and asked for the $99 Gift Price for a "family member". That prompted my message. If a representative at customer service told you we can not honor that for your children, that is incorrect, we definately can.

If you call member services, 1-800-234-3450, be sure to ask for Shane(that's me) and I will honor it for you. In fact after your first gift membership of $99, you can do any other children for just $49 a piece thereafter. If you need anything, just call and let me know.
