Locksmith messed up my door.
Had the unfortunate problem of leaving my toad's ignition key on while towing it, and when I arrived at the park I was hosting at, the car battery was so dead, I could not use my fob to unlock it. Called Good Sam Roadside assistance, and they promptly dispatched a locksmith to open my car. Sadly, the guy that showed up did not seem to be well trained. He used a device(s) similar to a blood pressure cuff to spread the door enough to get a tool in, and I told him that he looked like he was springing my door out too far, but he assured me that it would pop back. He worked on it, popping my door with these devices for a solid hour, but was unable to unlock my car. He finally called his boss, and a few hours later was able to get the car unlocked. But my door was damaged by those cuffs. Road/wind noise has doubled, and I took my car to a body shop, and they quoted me 575.00 to reseat the door. I don't know what company that they dispatched to do the unlock, and I'm angered that my vehicle was damaged, but I feel I have no recourse.
