Merchandise certificate?

Question

Received my two year updated G/S membership today....Dec 5 2018. Expiry date Dec 29 2018. I live in Canada, and as we do not have a Camping World store any where close......what is the point of offering a merchandise certificate? One would think that senior management would think of this and offer a certificate expiring at a more realistic time frame? I think that if I again renew my membership, it will be done on a year to year basis.

It is also good at their other corporate "family" of stores.Any of them in your area ??

Yes Bob it is good for online purchases. Problem is, the last time I ordered a shower head and the shipping cost was more than the purchase price. The only time we purchase at Camping World is when we are able to shop in person. Expiry date is: 12/29/18
