National General Insurance Fees
In Aug of 2014 I paid what it said on my statement for Balance due thru 12/20/2014. 2 months later I got a statement for a service fee. I called and talked to a person at National General and he said the fee was because the payment did not reach them by the 20th. It was by bank on line check. He said he realized the problem and would waive the fees. This conversation is on record at National General. I have now received a statement from National General that my policy has been cancelled and I owe them late fees and cancellation fees. Again I have on record that I paid the full amount for the one year policy in Aug 2014. I also was told that my fees would be less while my 5-wheel was in storage and all I had to do was call them if it was going to be out of storage. Not true. I kept receiving statements for full coverage as if I was on the road. I paid for full coverage for 5 months while it sat on my pad at home. I have record to back up. Very dissatisfied with National General, poor service and as far as I'm concerned missreprestation of a Good Sam service.
