Actually the only thing that really bothered me was the fact I had to provide proof, even after explaining the reason for difference. Lucky for me the dealer had access to state registration data base so was very painless. Of course when first presented with information it was pointed out more for the fact on the warranty I had did not cover gaskets and seals I believe on units older than 7 years without a separate rider, so kinda took it as attempt to skirt the repair on a non covered item. I'm pretty good at reading warranties the issue with them is that it seems when you go to use one that your interpretation and theirs always seems to be a bit different. Don't even get me started on Home Depots 2 year replacement warranty I had a pressure washer fail so I attempted to get it replaced as I had a 2 year replacement warranty which I do once the factory warranty expires so guess what I have a couple years until I can get my replacement even tho the failure is not covered by factory warranty.
