Parking for free at Camper World locations

Dear Marcus,
Today I read an article on Travel RV that the new policy of free parking at your stores is that you have to buy an RV at your stores. I take this as a slap in the face. I am an owner of a used Roadtrek 190V which I purchased at a very good price. You do not even sell Class Bs. If I were to purchase a Class A or other RV new, I would purchase from my friend Frannie Roberts of Longview than from you.

I am also a Good Sam member and have purchased the Good Sam towing service over any other. I am also a member of FMCA in that I am a member of Roadtrek International. What you have done is essentially said that Good Sam members don't count. If you continue to keep this policy and discriminate against, especially, Good Sam members, I shall take my business elsewhere, and encourage others to follow.

Agreed. That is such a strange CW and it's only a few years old. What were they thinking to have a RV facility with so little parking for vehicles and virtually none for RVs. I feel sorry for folks getting off the highway and really needing something and pull in and there's no place to go.
  • Not sure how many Camper World lots would have the room to park. Traveling cross country 2 years ago every CW lot we stopped at we barely were able to to pull our camper through because the lots were full of store camper stock and customer campers. It was much easier to find a nearby Walmart and camp for the night. It is more preferably for us as the wife likes to shop and we can pick up our meal for the night as well. That was pretty much par for Flying J and Pilot stations only they were always over crowded with truckers.
