Two things: YOu can NOT say that "almost everyone" is getting the discount because almost all of the responses here have been from people using the CREDIT CARD and that is not the issue at hand.
Secondly, I did call the customer service number and they offered to send me a new card. There is, however, no logical reason to believe that my present card is somehow defective because it is new AND the pump plainly reports that I should be getting a discount. THE PROBLEM IS WITH THE PROGRAMMING IN THE PILOT PUMPS OR THE HOST COMPUTER. Pilot is not going to fix this without some pressure from YOU......because they don't seem to care about complaints from a few lowly individuals and their "solution" is to go inside to collect what you are due.
THAT DOES NOTHING FOR THE POTENTIALLY HUNDREDS OR THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE WHO ARE BEING CHEATED OUT OF THE DISCOUNT EVERY DAY BECAUSE THEY DON'T LOOK AT THEIR RECEIPTS OR WON'T BOTHER COMPLAINING ABOUT THE DOLLAR OR LESS THAT IS INVOLVED.
I BELIEVE THAT THIS IS INTENTIONAL FRAUD ON SOMEONE'S PART......or at best gross incompetence.
