Pilot Gas Pumps Not Discounting

What would REALLY be nice is if it triggers someone at the company to FIX their software so that it shows an error message when the card is not read successfully.

This is such a simple and basic thing......that every system should have. NOT being set up that way in this day and age is unforgivable.

Yep, the new one works! Thanks to all who helped.

Hopefully the mag strip will last longer on this one.

"odd" is a nice way to describe it.
A very poorly designed system is probably more accurate.

Thank you so much for your attention to this. It's odd that no indication is given at the pump that it can't read the card properly. We'll give the new cards a try.

Thank you for your patience regarding this matter.
I have heard back from Pilot Flying J regarding the issues you have had at the
Pilot Travel Center #237 - Salinas, CA Pilot Travel Center #154 - Lost Hills, CA and the Pilot Flying J #765 - Thousand Palms, CA.
These are all corporate locations and are RV friendly, your card is activated and I was told the only issue they could identify was the magnetic strip on your card is worn out and the pump was unable to read the card.
I have reissued new cards for you and Donna. This should elevate issues in the future.

On pumps where I had a problem, it did not show any error. Just did not show discount. Closed out the transaction without pumping, did it again and everything worked. May just be a problem with card being read.
I no longer have problem. Got the Flying J card and discount automatic.
