Received a personal phone call from GS this morning saying that my card had not been activated. The caller said she has now activated it for me.
I haven't had a chance to try it out yet, but I much appreciated the personal attention to the matter. I hadn't realized I had to "activate" the card.
Evidently, based on comments here by GS and members, Pilot still has some issues which card activation won't solve, but at least this gets me past one hurdle.
