Roadside Assistance App

Recently I posted my thoughts on what a piece of cr*p the Roadside Assistance App is. Within an hour of my post, a response post came from GS as follows: "I would be happy to help with the problems you are experiencing. Please send me a PM with a good contact number and we can walk through the process on the app.

About an hour after the response was posted I PM'd back my cellphone number so they could contact me. Five days later, with still no call from them, I sent a second PM stating I was still waiting for their call and again giving my contact number.
It is now almost two weeks and still no response from GS. It appears they have time to watch this Forum and post responses that try to make it look like they are helping but in reality they are just trying to stop discussion on the negative reviews.

Come on GS, where's my call?:M I would bet dollars to donuts I never get one because my original comments are correct: the Roadside App is a piece of cr*p and there is no way they can "walk through the process on the app."

    Just so everyone knows. I received a call from Mark F a short time ago. We talked about the problems I had seven years ago regarding a brakedown resulting in having to be towed in the Yukon back in 2008 which at that time Good Sam ERS refused to pay for. A long story short Mark just worked out the issue with me on the phone to my satisfaction.

    I don't know who you have been talking to but my problem was the $2,000.00 towing bill you refused to pay for.

  • Well I guess it pays to complain! Rec'd a call from Marcus a few minutes ago. As I stated in my original complaint, the App will NOT accept a Cdn postal code to register, so it will not work for any Cdn members. He said that they are working on that and several other problems and it should all be fixed in a few months.
    Quite frankly I don't believe this App will ever be of any use. BUT, at least someone finally responded to my complaints.

    Thank you for your time today. And again I apologize for the delay. At this time the Roadside Assistance App will not except postal code for our Canadian members. We are looking into fixing this problem and I will provide a update when available. Thank you again for your time today and understanding.

    GOOL LUCK! I was also was asked by the Good Sams Care Team to PM them regarding a problem we had with GS ERS "FOUR MONTHS AGO" and I have yet to receive a response. We have Coach Net now.

  • I had a similar experience to a Post of mine. I sent Mark F a pm as requested. A week latter I got a PM and an apologize from Mark F.
