Perhaps. But research. I had a complaint & filed a BBB Complaint. CN & AAA had 3 ea complaints over the same period as GSRA had 48 in my area. GSRA finally stepped up,to the plate. I'm currently on a complimentary year of platinum service. We had a mobile mechanic dispatched Sunday who was able to fix our problem, & get us on our way. - PastorCharlieExplorerTowing services are 24/7/365 services with a call number open at all hours.
- wbwoodExplorerAnd you have to remember that they have a certain list they have to go by. They just don't have the authorization to call just anyone. It's gotta be in their system. I imagine the "finding a tire" situation is similar. Many people have mentioned that they have found tires themselves, especially at a walmart or something. Obviously they do not contract through Walmart.
- othertonkaExplorerIt is never a good time or place when you have a problem and need roadside assist. It is usually on a Saturday or Sunday or holiday, and in some god forsaken place where the nearest provider is hours and miles away. Now put yourself in the call screeners position, he or she has the same problem as we do, trying to find a provider that is open and can assist us in a timely manner. Not all of their contacts are just sitting around waiting for us to break down and come to our aid and fix our problem on the spot any time or day of the week. So which ever roadside assistance service you choose probably at one time or another, will not be able to satisfy everyone every time. You choose your service provider making sure they can handle a rig of your size and read the fine print as to what problems the policy will handle and take your chance is about all you can do. Then do your maintenance, and keep your RV in top shape so you minimize breakdowns and hope for the best.
