Stuck on the Highway

The OP posted in what is (to me) an understandable fit of frustration. Denver is bad to get around in on a normal day, however, on a Friday afternoon it is usually total gridlock. I have a feeling help came, just not as quickly as would have been desirable.

I will drive to Denver for weddings and funerals, picking up someone (grudgingly) at DIA and once in great while to hit Cabela's or IKEA on the south side of Denver. Otherwise the thought of living in/driving in Denver gives me the shivers.

only if the store has a public forum where you went and posted a thread stating a problem existed and than left people with the impression that is was never handled.

But did you announce to all who are standing around that you have a problem and it is not being addressed?

nice, joined 2003 and this is the 1st post and they don't even bother to update as to the resolution, people if you are going to come here to post your complaint how about posting resolutions so we all know if GS came through or left you hanging, I suppose if they had left you on the highway you would have been back here whining but since it was probably positive you will not bother

Yep its frustrating, but if we need road service, we just assume its going to be at least 2 hours.

This is so true and the reality of being a CDL over the road driver and is entirely accurate. When calling for assistance on the road be prepared for a minimum of a two hour delay and realistically four is not abnormal.

So---How did the wait go?

It's been two days. I would like to know what happened. OP still there?

I don't think Roadside Service would deny service if it fell within the guidelines of the service they provide. Because someone can not get to them in an hour, 2 hours or until the next day, is not denial. I would say that if you expect immediate servie, then don't pay for any roadside and call someone yourself. I'm sure it will work out for you financially better. Especially if you don't have to use it. Then more people would be more apt to not call for service. They would figure out things on their own.

And hears something. If I was told that I would receive a call back in 30 minutes, I would be waiting on that call back in an hour or two. I would be calling them back myself and asking what the hold up is.
