I just saw a post on the forum dealing with a terrible parking situation in southington,ct.
I appears that the only support she has received was an alert on the GoodSams website.
She has contacted the our club and local charter. The only support our club provided was the posting of the alert.
SamsClub is huge with thousands of dues paying members. Our club should not have to rely on a small group of dedicated volunteers to assist our members deal with this serious matter.
As a motorcyclist I am a member of AMA which supports members with anti motorcycle proposals. They have professionals to provide regional support. RV parking bans are anti RV proposals. Our club should recognize the importance of these anti rv proposals by providing paid regional professionals to speak for our members at appropriate local hearings.
Towns that ban rv parking in driveways, if not addressed, could eventually reduce our membership.
