- CalicajunExplorerMy AAA allows a set number of free service calls per year, per card. After that you are charged and AAA likes making money and they don't care how many non-free service calls I request.
- GMandJMExplorerLost a wheel and tire on your trailer 3x? Wow - that's bad luck.
Glad your issue was just an error and that you've not been dropped. - PennyPAExplorerMy problems were varied. Locked out once, flat tire on truck once, flat tire on trailer twice, lost wheel and tire on trailer 3x, something wrong with truck brakes twice (not our fault! Poor brake replacement). I think that's it...over a period of 10 years. BUT, just got a call from Josh at Good Sam Roadside Assistance and he said we received that letter in error. Yeah, right. Any way, he apologized for the company so I guess we will keep them for now.
- RoadsideGuyExplorerHello everyone - I wanted to take a minute to clarify Good Sam Roadside's policy regarding usage. We do monitor member usage, and on rare occasion (less than 1/10th of 1% of our membership), choose to not renew or cancel a membership that has "excessively used" the roadside assistance membership. We do this to help keep our costs down for the remainder of membership in those cases where usage is more than 20 times more frequent than the average member.
We are also human. The membership in question was noted at this status by mistake. We have corrected immediately and offer our apologies for the misunderstanding.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Good Sam Roadside Assistance - GMandJMExplorerThat's a new twist. GSRA dumping someone instead of the other way around.
I know someone who got a "warning" letter from AAA for using their jump-start service too often. - RognBonExplorer

How many calls did you have?
I don't think it has to do with the number of calls, but the number of calls for the same issue. If you call five times for a dead battery, or you've locked yourself out repeatedly, or you run out of fuel every other week, you are probably going to be dropped. That's what happened to my son. After the fourth time he locked his keys in his truck is a short period of time, AAA dropped him. I can't say I blame them. - LakeLifeTLExplorerHow many calls did you have?
- RognBonExplorerThey will all do the same thing. My son got dropped by AAA because of excessive calls for assistance.
